The internet portal draws its content from the Integrated Information System (IIS) of the Archaeological Cadastre. Today it includes 17.000 monuments, 3,100 archeological sites, 420 historical sites, 844 protection zones and 220 museums.

The registrations may be enriched or modified with new data from the Archive of Directorate for the Administration of the National Archive of Monuments. However, they also depend on the work carried out by the competent Services of the Ministry of Culture and Sports.

The portal includes only the designated and delimitated archeological sites and historical sites. Therefore, it does not include areas of archaeological importance for which no designation has been issued. Moreover, according to Law 3028/2002 "On the Protection of Antiquities and Cultural Heritage in general" the protection of monuments and archaeological sites dating back to 1830 is automatic, without the issuance of an administrative act. It is also noted that about 4000 immovable monuments that are not geospatially located have not been made public at the portal. With regard to marine archeological sites, selected data are provided mainly for coastal ones.

Finally, the portal does not contain the designated buildings and traditional settlements by other Ministries: Ministry of Energy and Environment (former Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Environment, Physical Planning and Public Works), former Ministry of Macedonia Thrace, Aegean and Island Policy.
